Braden French wants to throw a 95 mph pitch. Period. The youngster, in the high school '26 class, endured a broken bone in his throwing shoulder just before the 2023 season started which hasn't helped much. Prior to that the righty pitcher was clocked at 79 mph. Not totally bad for a kid entering his freshman year of high school but since the injury he has not surpassed that speed, basically living at 75 a year later. Enter Tom House. Probably one of the the most successful personal sports coach of all time (worked with Tom Brady, Nolan Ryan, Clayton Kershaw, and many others) and his team have agreed to take young Braden under his/their wing while helping him to safely optimize his pitching mechanics that will hopefully equal his goal - to throw a baseball 95 miles an hour.
Hence, the moniker, "Braden's drive to 95!"
